Owning 1 in 5 of the ATMs in Australia the client required a way of driving more transactions to terminals, larger signage and lighting.
Besides the branding packs of graphics and ATM surround, the surround enabled remote comms for the ATM instead of fixed phone lines.
Fleet wide the ATMs were moved from dial up solid telephone lines to mobile modems, this was only possible with the surround featuring low power use LED lighting (traditional Fluro bulbs and their hash disrupted transactions on a regular basis).
The Surround gives a larger point of presence in branding and way finding via the large "ATM" lit sign as well as being more energy efficient , a win-win!
